Aboard the Ventus Australis

Our ship through the Magellan Strait, Chilean Fjords, and Beagle Channel was the Ventus Australis, a 210 passenger ship specially designed to sail in these waters. We spent four days and nights on-board, made five zodiac excursions at Ainsworth Bay, Tucker Islets, Pia Glacier, Cape Horn and Wulaia Bay and finished our cruise at Ushuaia, a city of 60,000 but with a frontier feel, that bills itself as Fin del Monde - End of the Earth - as it is the southern most city on the planet.
